About Us

Euclid Power is a renewable energy software and services company that is building the operating system for the renewable energy industry; we make data management and workflow tools to help project developers and investors build more renewable energy projects. We believe it is time that the process of deploying renewable energy projects was powered by software, as much as social media or online ads.

Euclid is trusted by some of the largest solar investors, solar developers, utilities, and technology integrators to provide software, guidance, and project diligence support. Euclid is a company of 55 folks, and led by a world-class team of renewable energy, software, product, and project management veterans. Our solutions have driven the creation of over 3GW of renewable energy capacity across hundreds of projects.

Our company is committed to hiring talented team members and advisors who are hardworking, passionate, and committed to our mission. Hires at this stage will immediately contribute to the DNA of our product, processes, and, most importantly, culture. At Euclid, learning, growing, and testing the best ideas are central to our approach to solving one of the world’s most important challenges: climate change.

About The Role & Team Culture

We are excited to add a Senior Frontend Engineer to our product development team. This individual will join a team of nine folks who are committed to making a sizable impact on the future of renewable energy. This is a remote role and we are only hiring candidates based in the US at this time.

Our current tech stack is Rails / React / Postgres, though we’re excited to hire someone who has experience with a range of technologies and comes up to speed on new tools quickly. As a team, we look for engineers who contribute to our values: continuous learning, taking the initiative and a bias to action, empathetic collaboration, and pride of craft.

What You’ll Do

  • Dive into our application and contribute large pieces to a world-class user experience for the solar industry

  • Architect solutions to product needs that tame complexity and balance performance, flexibility, and reliability

  • Stay connected to industry best practices and bring them to bear on our codebase and toolchain

  • Push our engineering culture to be even more nimble, efficient, and collaborative by drawing on past experience

  • Craft high-quality code across the stack, particularly on the front-end, and actively participate in code reviews and design reviews

  • Get up to speed on the problem domain of solar project development; bring ideas for product features and high-leverage infrastructure investments

  • Mentor early career engineers by sharing your own experiences and insights on how and where to grow

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of software development experience in React, Typescript, and JavaScript

  • Experience and interest in working full-stack on servers, APIs, and databases to solve problems and move quickly

  • Track record of onboarding/getting up to speed quickly and driving technical and cultural improvements at previous roles

  • Experience architecting frontend applications and generating novel solutions to problems with complexity and scale

  • Instances of understanding user needs and shaping the product and user experience

  • Ability to communicate and drive work forward in remote environments, across competing priorities

  • Excellent mentorship, code review, and collaboration skills with a team in a continuous, agile environment

What We Provide

  • Benefits package (401K, Health Insurance, Remote Work, Paid Time Off, 13 Paid Holidays)

  • Opportunity for early equity awards and share in the growth of the firm you are helping build

  • Opportunity to learn and grow in a truly supportive, collaborative, dynamic, and diverse environment

  • Exposure to the heart of the growing renewable energy industry

  • Work that matters

We are committed to building an inclusive working environment and doing our part to create a more equitable world. We strongly encourage applicants from underrepresented and/or historically marginalized communities to apply.

The annual salary range for this role is $155,000 - $175,000 with an equity award as part of the total compensation package. The actual base salary and equity is dependent upon many factors, such as education, experience, skills, and internal compensation equity. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
